In June 2007, MetroSigns moved in to its new head office and manufacturing facility in Epping, Victoria, underlining its commitment to the sign Australian industry.

The factory, brings all MetroSigns operations under the one roof, is located close to Melbourne’s international airport and right next to the Hume Freeway. This makes transport and travel easy; in fact, it’s ‘traffic light free’ from Epping to Geelong and Frankston!

The facility provides 1500m2 of factory space, plus some 420m2 of office area, providing a comfortable and professional home for our staff, and an efficient workflow, faster turnarounds and significant economies to our manufacturing operation. It houses the very latest production facilities and equipment for all modern signmaking techniques, including extrusion and moulding systems, pylon and monolith construction; metal welding; steel, aluminum and plastic fabrication; vacuum forming; computer-controlled routing; LED’s, illumination and neon bending technology; large-format digital printing (indoor and outdoor); spray painting, and vinyl cutting.

It also features an overhead gantry to facilitate the movement of large or heavy components and materials, ensuring MetroSigns continues to comply with the most stringent OH&S regulations and guidelines.

In fact, the entire facility has been built to international QAS quality assurance standards, to ensure MetroSigns is well placed to continue to manufacture for export markets, as well as our local Australian clientele.

Whilst the new facility ensures MetroSigns can cater for all current requirements, the spacious 4570m2 site allows plenty of room for expansion in future.
